Crunch! Munch! Crackle! Snap?
(Since when does my cereal go snap?)
Listen attentively for secrets that lay trapped inside of little bubbles.
Two percent is the only key.

“Open the door” said the bowl.
Now I definitely know that something isn’t quite right.
In all my years I have never received an order from my breakfast.
This must be important.

With a slight tug of the handle I open the door of frosty destiny and wait for more instructions.
(How exciting!)
“When the time is right, you will know what to do” the bowl popped.
What is that supposed to mean?

“I can’t stand here with the door open all day” I groaned to my the sad little feast sitting on the table.
The bowl says nothing in reply. (How rude.)
Two days and three nights I stand before my open refrigerator.
A quick glance at the bowl reminds me that I am there for a reason.

Grumble. Bumble. Gurgle. Fizz?
Too afraid to eat the answer, the contents of the mysterious cave lay untouched.
Have been made delusional by hunger and temptation; my eyes become blurry.
I must focus on something, my sweet blue label!
